The upgrade licenses extend our vision sensors with additional functions such as measuring, reading 1D and 2D codes, and our fix-mounted ID readers with reading difficult-to-read DPM codes.
The UP-OCR-LICENSE adds the functions "Localize text", "Detect text" and "Count characters" to the functions of the sensor. The OCR function enables the sensor to read different fonts.
To activate the upgrade, the license file is simply transferred to the sensor using the nVision-i Start interface.
